The Smashing Pumpkins have confirmed that they will release their new album 'Oceania' on June 18.
The LP, which will be the band's seventh studio record, has been produced by singer Billy Corgan and has been described as an "album within an album" as it is part of their 44-song cycle for 'Teargarden By Kaleidyscope'.
It has also been announced that the album will be put out by EMI, after they inked a deal to release the record with Corgan's label Martha's Music. Speaking about the agreement, EMI Label Services's Mike Harris said: "We are thrilled to extend the long-term partnership between The Smashing Pumpkins and EMI with the release of 'Oceania'. Everybody at EMI is looking forward to working closely with Billy and the band to help them deliver their vision and their music to fans around the world."
In December last year, Corgan insisted that 'Oceania' was the band's best album in over 15 years and their strongest offering since 1995's 'Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness'.
The singer is set to have a busy 2012 – in addition to releasing 'Oceania', he also has plans to open a Chicago teahouse and continue work with his own professional wrestling company.

Snow Patrol Live in Manila
Alternative rock band from Bangor, Northern Ireland "Snow Patrol" will be having a live concert event in Manila Philippines.
Snow Patrol Live in Manila Fallen Empires World Tour Smart Araneta Coliseum August 8, 2012.
Snow Patrol Live in Manila Ticket Prices.
Seventeen years into their career, there is little danger of the Northern Irish/Scottish sextet pursuing this dance thing seriously, but their flirtation with it has put some pep into their step. Though the balance of the set is what you would expect (beseeching ballads and maximal guitar anthems), they serve it up with a lighter, happier touch than previously. The ponderousness of Take Back the City, with its none-more-obvious monochrome film footage of taxis trundling down glamorous boulevards, is countered by the sprightliness of Lightbody's vocals; during the ballad Crack the Shutters, he snuggles up behind guitarist Nathan Connolly and runs his hands over Connolly's head during the line, "Happy lost in your hair."

Reviews of THe Phantom of the Opera: by: Musical Theater Girl
The Phantom of the Opera is a classic for everybody of all ages. Even for me, someone who despises classical opera, I really loved this from the moment I saw the show; it was life-changing. During the Overture, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I was freaked out when the chandelier crashed, and I cried in the final scene. This was the first time I saw it. The second time I saw it, the Overture was even more electrifying, During the Act 1 Finale, and I bawled like a baby in the last scene.
The Phantom of the Opera is a tale of seduction, romance, revenge and unrequited love. The acting was phenomenal. If you're a parent, don't fear, you can take the whole family with you. There is really no profanity, although some sensual movement. The operatic arias may bore them a little, but the title song's 80's drum-beat will surely give them a retro thrill. It also gives your a good opportunity to talk with your kids about judging by looks and accepting people for who they are.
Phantom Of The Opera Song List:
1. Phantom Of The Opera – Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again
2. Phantom Of The Opera – Little Lotte Mirror
3. Phantom Of The Opera – Notes Twisted Every Way
4. Phantom Of The Opera – Masquerade Why So Silent
5. Phantom Of The Opera – All I Ask Of You
6. Why Have You Brought Me Here? Raoul, I've Been There
