Pop icon Kylie Minogue has announced that she will be bringing her "Aphrodite Live" 2011 World Tour to Manila in July. After years of waiting, this will be the icon’s first ever concert in the Philippines and it's already anticipated to be one of the best to be staged. She will perform at Araneta Coliseum on July 5, 2011.
Inspired by the Greek mythology and culture, the brand new extravagant “Aphrodite Live 2011” will feature an array of specially designed props, including a 14-feet tall golden Pegasus, a golden Chariot, five video screens, and a sweeping staircase. Audiences can also look forward to performance by an entourage of aerialists and mysterious flying angels. Costume-wise, “Aphrodite Live 2011” will feature 200 glamorous outfits and 100 different pairs of shoes that were made of over a million diamante crystals and nearly 1,000 feathers. The Aphrodite herself will also be carrying the bespoke Dolce & Gabbana costumes for the entire show. Spectacular choreography, lighting and video content are to be featured in this euphoric journey of joy, excitement and dazzling glamour.
